OVER 28 COUNTRIES TO TAKE PART IN UAE’S 5* JUMPING EVENT

Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup of UAE and The President of the UAE showjumping Cup presented by Longines, will take place in February 2018 in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. Running from 14th to the 17th of February at the state of the art Al Forsan International Sports Resort, the event will once again showcase a truly world-class field, with competitors spanning the width of the international equestrian circuit.

Presented by Longines, who are the Official Timekeeper of the event, and in association with Abu Dhabi Sports Council, United Arab Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation and the FEI, the event will aim to attract top class riders, continuing Abu Dhabi’s commitment to delivering globally recognised sport to the Emirate. The UAE team, who spearhead domestic interest, will come into the event off the back of a historic win at the Longines FEI Nations Cup ™ Jumping Final in September, and will surely be considered amongst the favourites on home soil.

28 countries will be represented at the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of UAE and will compete at Al Forsan International Sports resort.

The event will incorporate team and individual disciplines, and will also offer prizes to a number of different categories. The Grand Prix will take place on the Thursday, and the Nations Cup will follow on the Saturday. Yas TV will broadcast the event live, as the riding world descend on Abu Dhabi.

In addition to top quality showjumping, families and adults alike will also be able to enjoy the array of activations taking place in the event village from pony rides, food trucks, bouncy castles and live music making it a truly unforgettable day out.
